Battery Eliminator (BEC) 3A capacity
A BEC (or Battery Eliminator Circuit) is designed to power your receiver from main battery power, scaling it down from the main voltage to a steady 5V, which is what most receivers require.
Modern Electronic Speed Controllers (ESC's) typically have a small BEC built into them, however large servos or other high current peripherals may overtax the unit, resulting in excessive heat or shutdown.
This module is a voltage regulator that can accept anything from 4.5 to 24V and scale it down to: 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, 5V, 9V, or 12V. Units also include a built-in potentiometer for precise adjustment if the standard output voltages are not applicable for your use.
This is perfect for powering your receiver, or any other device that draws less than 3A under full load, including small pumps or LED lighting.
