The Hunt For Red October is easily one of the most iconic submarine movies ever produced, and the star of the movie was the Red October herself, a highly modified Typhoon submarine equipped with the silent "Caterpillar Drive". 
 
The movie portrayed the submarine as best they could at the time, as most information about the Typhoon submarines was still highly classified. As such, Hollywood created their own version of what they thought the sub looked like below the surface, complete with giant 'beavertail' rear dive plane and exposed propellers. 

These files do not attempt to recreate that boat, but rather what the Red October would have looked like if the movie producers had access to the proper references. As such, these parts include replacement parts for the bow and stern that portray the Magneto Hydro Electric Propulsion intake and outlets. These were engineered to be functional with a water pump forcing water into two pressure chambers, opening up the rear doors with water pressure against spring loaded hatches. 

A clear piece of plastic sheet will need to be sourced to act as the pressure chamber top. There is no file provided for such.
