The design for this boat comes from the mind of Peter Pohl, talented digital artist and the creator of another of my previous projects, the Argo Hippocamp. The Nautilus Drydocks took this initial digital offering and modified it for physical printing, transforming it into a fully functional RC model that looks as amazing on and under the water as it does on a display shelf.

Finished dimensions of the model as supplied:
Length: 752mm
Beam: 317mm

Height: 390mm

Volume: 1044 cm3

Maximum part size: 204mm z-axis

The full print should take approximately 1.4rolls of 1kg filament, not including any supports or allowances for failed parts.

Includes files for stand uprights and propeller, though if you are planning on making this a fully functional model as I have, I highly recommend sourcing a large brass propeller rather than using a 3D printed version.  Propeller diameter is 70mm in supplied scale.

By purchasing these files for any purpose, you acknowledge that you are completely allowed to use them for the creation of your own model. You can modify these files as you see fit for this purpose.

Distribution, including making the files accessible to any individual or company other than the original buyer, for any reason, without the express written consent of the Nautilus Drydocks, constitutes a breach of the terms and any and all legal remedies may be employed to compensate for damages. You’ve been warned!

Basically, just realize that someone put a lot of time and energy into making this product, and sharing them divulges the original artist and me of an income that is badly needed and deserved.

Have fun with them. Mark, chop, scale, and modify however you like. Just don’t let them out of your possession. Thanks for your cooperation and understanding.
