We understand that the idea of a full static diving submarine along with all of the components, electronics and linkages can be overwhelming and intimidating. 

A great intermediate step is the construction of either a surface running submarine, or else a full diving submarine that does so dynamically (using only the dive planes to pull it under the water as opposed to a ballast system and dive planes). 

To make that first step easier, we have created the new 250 Series Easy Driver. 
 
These cylinders feature the same robust construction as our full 250 Series SubDrivers, but without the ballast system components present. The cylinder is simpler, smaller, and easier to install, maintain and repair. 
 
Available in single or dual shaft configuration, with four servo outputs (rudder, rear dive planes, forward dive planes, torpedoes, etc).
 
Overall length of the cylinder itself is approximately 13" (excluding dual shaft gearbox) and, as the name implies, it is a 2.5" diameter module. 

These units are a perfect match for any submarine model with a beam of at least 3.5".

For those looking to save a few dollars, we do offer these cylinders in "Kit" form. All the parts for our EasyDriver will be included. There are, however, no instructions, and assembly is at your own risk and recognisance. 

The 300 Series EasyDriver does have a video online that shows the basics used to build our 212 kit. Most of the steps should be the same, but there may be deviations between the video and your parts.
