Installation tip: 
Lightly sand the mating surface of the photoetch with sandpaper prior to adhesion. Use ferric chloride acid or (in a pinch) some good quality acetic acid (aka vinegar) to "pickle" the brass and create microfissures in the smooth finish. This will allow your paint to stick much better and resist the common issue of flaking paint afterward.
